How inspiring to see Jarrod make it to the Olympics, so what if his technique isn't text book - he has made it, this is his dream. As a boy from Townsville that I watched throw Javelin through his Little Athletics and then into Amateurs competitions I have nothing but admiration for him he has overcome many injuries has kept on striving to be the best.

Go for GOLD Jarrod.

Jarrod threw 78 meters yesterday...c'mon guys. Who is right? Me or you? You know the answer. I just want to hear it. Yes, I am ego...and I love it. Anyhow, to end this slugfest: Let's leave the kid alone and let him develop in his own time. Not like he needs more pressure. 90 meters in 3-4 years if injuryfree is possible. Not now. And NO...I am not Garry Calvert.

i think you are right, his technique isen't that good. If he now trows 78 meters, he won't reach over 90m this year

I am not surprised that Mr. "want some lice to go with that Kobe Beef" reverts to writing that my technical knowledge is lacking or that I utlize a low-level form of communication since he is lacking constructive arguments. A sign of someone that really takes you.tube too seriously and prides himself/herself being an armchair javelin thrower/caoch. You know that I am right Mr. Chop-Suey. And yes, the post I made above is a little edgy asking you guys to kneel. Funny since it so ridiculous.

How can anyone take youtube seriously? You fill your need for self promotion by slagging off others. You do not need a constructive arguement to be made to look stupid you have achieved that by yourself. Having trained with Garry and Jarrod for a number of years my technnical knowledge exceeds yours when it comes to elite throwers. PS, The drive comes into the throw from the right leg not left, this is a typical misinterpretation of the throw. Leave the kid alone, now you've had your 2 cents?

Self promotion? Have I mentioned my PB yet? Nope. In order to be self-promoting I would have to give you my identity as well. You know neither. All you have are my truthful comments. How can "slagging off" others [which I don't do in the first place] be self promoting?

Clearly you want to this into a cock measuring contest. Personally, I don't care what you have achieved or not. I take you seriously no matter what. That is just the kind of person I am regardless of my achievements.

BTW: Self-promoting and ego is not necessarily the same thing. I agree that I like rubbing it in when it turns out that I am correct.
