Reese Hoffa won Drake Relays with an amazing new World Lead of 21.71m. A high level competition gave the second position to Ryan Whiting with a massive 21.37m and third Justin Rodhe 21.29m.

Hoffa had 4 throws over 21m uring the competition. Hoffa commented "Starting in the fall, we tried to do things that we were doing last year, and it throws us off a little, because we need to go back to the basics of what we would normally be doing. I think also not having an indoor season really affects it"
