World champion Vili targets World Indoor crown in Valencia – IAAF Online Diaries

On 6 October, my husband Bertrand took me away for a nice weekend in Taupo for my birthday. It’s always great to get away and relax, especially without any athletics commitments, and Taupo is such a beautiful part of New Zealand.
My coach Kirsten also celebrated her birthday on the same date as me. We texted each other a couple of times to wish each other “Happy Birthday!” as she was also having a break away with her husband.

This weekend also saw the defeat of the All Blacks by France in the Quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup. Bertrand is “the enemy” (Husband Bertrand is French/ New Caledonian) so he was happy with the result!!!
