Alekna and Grincikaite - the best athletes 2009 in Lithuania.

Lithuanian Athletics Federation announced their best athletes of the year.
2x Olympic and 2x World Champion Virgilijus Alekna is the best male athlete of the year in Lithuania.

Alekna was fourth in Berlin World Championships, he won the IAAF final in Thessaloniki and also he was second in the world season list (69.59m).

Lina Grincikaite won U23 European Championships in 100m.
